Approximately 11 million Indians travel by train on a daily basis. Besides that, it is also a developing country and hence has limited in fracture facilities which fails to be sufficient for the huge mass brings in many issues of space constraint and uneasy and torturous means of travel. This made me think of the venture of a new product that would provide the user with seating at their own will.

Users at various levels of the process chain were studied in detail to understand issues at these individual levels. A 1:1 scale working model was prepared, tested and refined final design. The concept thus selected would help make life comfortable for all its users.

Lifestyle Products- Design a Cutlery Set for the elite class.

The project involved a rapid design solution for lifestyle products. The design of cutlery set was undertaken by me. The project called for innovative ideas in form exploration and design to justify a theme. Ergonomics was taken care of by making thermacol exploratory models. The cutlery set was for the elite class. The set followed the theme of a milky analogy. A coffee mug, tea cup, salt/pepper dispenser were a few designs within them.

Induction Based Cooking Set for Hostellers/ Bachelors

The project deals with an integrated design of the technological essence of an induction mechanism based cooking method which finds its nich in the Indian cooking.

The project aim is designing a cooking set for the bachelors/ the hostellers/overnight camps. The design output product would provide the user the privilege to cook his own food anywhere and in the easiest possible manner. In conditions such as hostels, bachelor paying guests, unmarried tenants, and during camping, there is lack of cooking infrastructure. Hence, an allowance to make your own food in the most clean manner would be a privilege. Induction based cooking proves to be the most appropriate cooking method within this context.
