Desirable Specialization in the following HASMED course:
1. Design Thinking for Innovation (9FT* + 3PT*)
2. Intro to Design (2FT* + 1PT*)
3. Intro to Sound Design (1FT* + 1PT*)
4. Indian & World Cinema (2FT* + 1PT*)
The job description is as follows but not limited to;
• Assisting in planning, creating class structure and setting up class schedules
• Support faculty in teaching activities as needed, teach small topics
• Communicate with students, provide guidance, and follow up when required
• Take attendance regularly
• Create & solve assignments, grade assignments and upload grades
• Prepare solutions for assignments, invigilation and help in CRIB sessions
• Book venues for exams, exhibitions, or other events
• Place and track orders for materials required for the class
Qualifications:
• MDes (or equivalent) or BDes (or equivalent) with 2 years of work experience
• Interest in teaching Design.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Good understanding of diverse design disciplines accompanied with a portfolio that establishes competence in at least any ONE discipline (industrial design, communication design, interaction design, animation, mobility and vehicle design, filmmaking, virtual reality, digital sketching, print making)
• Inclination to engage with young students.
• Competence / experience in supervising design tasks, providing critical feedback will be a plus.
• For BDes (or equivalent) candidates must have 2 years of work experience before applying, but 3-5 years will be a plus. For MDes candidates, work experience in the industry of 1-3 years will be a plus.
Responsibilities:
Full-time/ Part- time teaching assistant to one or more IDC faculty members while teaching HASMED courses, support in teaching, feedback, assessment etc.
Pay Structure:
These will be 1 year appointments at PR-O1 Technical as per IRCC guidelines.

• Coordinate class schedules for the assigned design studio
• Guide and support students in using equipment during class sessions
• Organize and set up the studio for various events as needed
• Open and close the studio as per the class schedule
• Maintain tools, equipment, and other studio logistics
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed while the studio is in use
• Arrange procurement of materials required for studio activities
Qualifications:
• BDes, BTech or equivalent
OR BSc/BA/BCom or equivalent degree with 2 years of relevant experience
OR 3-year Diploma with 5 years of relevant experience
OR In exceptional cases those with ITI (2-year course) in a trade with more than 8 years of relevant experience may be considered with prior approval and justification. Skill Test will be required.
• Proficient in handling machinery / equipment in metal / wood / plastic / ceramic / paint / bamboo / textile / virtual reality / filmmaking studios/ print making
• Applicant to submit a statement clearly stating areas of expertise
• Work experience of 1-3 years in relevant areas and a corresponding portfolio of own work in the chosen area will be a plus.
Responsibilities:
Assistance in running various IDC studios to support courses.
Pay Structure (5 days/ 40 hrs. a week):
These will be 1 year appointments at PR-A3 Technical as per IRCC guidelines.

The job description is as follows but not limited to;
• Support the Senior Assistant in maintaining the studio space and logistics, including stationery
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure the studio is cleaned regularly
• Assist faculty and students as and when required during class sessions
• Instruct students on the proper use of tools and equipment
• Rearrange the studio setup as per the requirements of different faculty members
Qualifications:
• 3-year Diploma in the appropriate discipline
OR ITI in the appropriate trade
OR Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline
OR Persons with proven experience of at least 5 years in the following skills: wood work, bamboo craft, pottery, metal working, machining and fabrication including processes such as turning, milling, shaping, CNC machining, electro discharge machining, grinding, operation of foundry equipment, welding, basic electronics, and repair / maintenance of these / similar equipment. A skill test is mandatory in this case.
• Proficient in handling machinery in metal / wood / plastic / ceramic / paint / bamboo / textile studios/ print making. Should be technically qualified to operate machines and equipment in metal / wood / plastic / ceramic / paint / bamboo / textile studios
• Work experience of 2 years and a corresponding portfolio of own work is required. Additional experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Assistance in running various IDC studios to support courses.
