The workshop, studios and the laboratories at IDC provide an excellent opportunity for the students to explore materials and medium, model prototypes, experiment with conepts and test out their design solutions. These are constantly upgraded to include state of the art facilities and technologies.

In addition to laboratories, studios and library, IDC has the following facilities: 

The Material Library continuously collects information on new materials/processes/techniques etc. for applications into a wide range of product design problems.

The Product Development Cell undertakes design detailing and development projects. It has facilities for building working prototypes.

The Rapid Prototyping Cell is equipped with FDM machine and has been built with industry support.

The IDC Auditorium with a seating capacity of 120 is used for conducting courses, seminars and workshops.
