On Saturday, January 24, 2026, IIT Bombay held a meeting for retired faculty members. As part of this event, retired IDC professors, Prof. U. A. Athavankar, Prof. K. Munshi, and Prof. Vijay Bapat, met with current faculty and students at the IDC School of Design Mini Theatre. It was a warm and enjoyable occasion that celebrated the strong connections within our department.

Everyone participated in meaningful discussions, and guests shared inspiring stories while reminiscing about their time at IDC SoD and IIT Bombay. The meeting showcased the important contributions of retired faculty and fostered a sense of togetherness among all those present.

This event not only brought us closer but also rekindled our commitment to excellence in education at the School of Design, IIT Bombay.
