On-Campus Dining

Descafe: This small but self sufficient tea stall located on the backside of basement floor in the IDC. It is an ideal place to have a Vada Pav.

Gulmohar Cafeteria: 2nd floor of Gulmohar building (near H-10). Good ambience, reasonable prices. [Phone: 022 2576 2783].

Staff Canteen: It is near the security office in MB. Lunch and Dinner are also available.Open till 2 am.

IIT Bombay Canteens: IIT Bombay has several canteens that offer affordable and delicious meals. You can find a variety of options, including Indian, Chinese, and Continental cuisine.

Mess Halls: The institute also has mess halls where students can enjoy subsidized meals.

 

Nearby Restaurants - Indian Cuisine

Sagar Ratna: A popular chain serving authentic South Indian cuisine, known for its dosas, idlis, and uttapams.

Giani's: A family-friendly restaurant offering a variety of North Indian dishes, including thalis, curries, and tandoori specialties.

Vada Pav Wala: A local favorite for the iconic Mumbai street food, vada pav.

Rodas: 5 star restaurant good ambience, if you are flushed with money.

Meluha The Fern: is one of finest upscale hotels in Mumbai. Boasting of being the first five-star hotel in Hirandani Powai

JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar: This luxury hotel features multiple restaurants serving international cuisine, including Chinese, Thai, and Mediterranean.
