‘Hum-v’ an electric bike developed at EVFuture Auroville, was looking forward for a new costume to appeal and entice larger market. The brief for styling was set to explore the possibilities with sheet metal and manual manufacturing methods. It involved customer interviews, product positioning, 3D soft modeling, 1:1 card board mock-ups and finally a drivable prototype. Designed to look electric, rugged yet streamlined, the new Hum-V became an eagle which soars and glides silently and gracefully over the brown land of Auroville.
