da - ma - roo is an indian drum used by street magicians and wandering storytellers to announce their arrival. All sounds, alphabets, and stories are supposed to have originated from the damroo which is the chosen symbol for our work.

The Focus area for the project:

• Conceiving new directions and creation of new material
• engaging with traditional visual art practices and practitioners
• Focus on indain languages
• Encouraging research and education and student publicartions
  Collaborating with organisations connected with children, writers, artists, illustrators and animators
