Online course uses global crises as a teaching and research field
How is the corona pandemic and the resulting accelerated digitization affecting different social groups in India and Germany? Students from Braunschweig and Mumbai pursued this question in a joint course in intercultural and interdisciplinary teams. Professor Sugandh Malhotra from IDC School of Design at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Professor Corinna Bath, head of the working group “Gender, Technology, Mobility” at the Technical University of Braunschweig, and her colleague Dr. Sandra Buchmüller. used online teaching to offer a new teaching and learning opportunity to the students of Germany and India in this unique inter-cultural, inter-disciplinary, trans-disciplinary collaborative course.
