The ‘Design Experience’ Seminar is a one-day National seminar on various issues of design at DDS 2006. Exhibition of Works: Sunday 11th & Monday 12th June'06 (10:00 am - 6:00 pm)
                              Open to general visitors

This year the DDS exhibition, themed ‘Take Off’ is being held at IDC, IIT Bombay itself from 10-12th June 2006. The exhibition will consist of panels and exhibits displaying the design solutions of graduating students. Spread over three days, the exhibition allows the general public as well as the industry to see the way design can make a difference to them. DDS also allows for the industry and the students to freely interact, to think of ways in which their projects could be taken forward.

Abhikalpa: Sunday 11th June'06 (10:30 am - 1:30 pm  &  3:00pm - 6:00 pm)

This year, we are holding 'Abhikalpa' - workshops for high school students on different areas of design such as Auto Design, Animation, Type Design and Packaging Design. The workshops will be held on Sunday 11th of June at IDC, IIT Bombay
Fees: Rs 100/- per workshop.

Registration for the workshops would be on the spot, on first come first served basis.


Design Meet: Sunday 11th June'06 (7:00 pm onwards)

The Design Meet being held at 7:00 PM on Sunday 11th June - is a meeting point for all professional designers. The guest of honour is Prof S Nadkarni. The meet is followed by dinner.
