Current Projects

  1. Revisiting Ajanta, an MHRD collaborative design project that takes a holistic view of this heritage site to study and implement various design interventions possible on one hand, and the use of these projects as tools for design pedagogy on the other.

  2. Creation of online resources for 3D animation through D’Source.

  3. Fomenting entrepreneurship among the alumni of IDC by imparting exposure to real world animation design projects under his guidance.

  4. Study of the art forms of the Thakars of Pinguli, specifically Chitrakathi, Chamdyachya Bahulya (leather puppets), Kalsutri Bahulya (string puppets) to explore the need and possibilities of design intervention for the revival, rejuvenation and repositioning of traditional art forms like these in contemporary context.
