Goals:
1. To enhance doctoral education in management and engineering by
     a. Using new technology based environments.
     b. Using new collaboration arrangements across institutions to improve the effectiveness of education at an affordable cost.

2. To develop and identify new teaching paradigms to accomplish this task.

Distinguishing Features:
   Explores cost-effective approaches to doctoral education. · Permits both the personal apprenticeship aspects of doctoral education, and access to scholarship and resources available from other institutions in a distributive environment.

Deliverables:
   Creation of a new model of doctoral education.
   Diffusion of this model to other educational settings in India.
