Welcome to VCTEL.

The overall objective of this initiative is the creation and development of new learning environments that will provide greater access and enhancement to the educational sector in India.

We have focused on developing a model by which the IITs and IIMs can work together along with CMU for networking, and, for doing collaborative work in the larger interest of the India's future development.

We selected the following target populations for this work: Educational institutions, working professionals in the industry as well as Government sectors.

The specific objectives of this initiative are:
   To develop new collaborative activities that will create new educational tools, methods, and courses, which will enhance the learning environment for the community of universities and other institutions of higher education.

   To create an infrastructure that will transfer these new tools, methods, and courses to other educational institutions and reach the professionals working in the industry and government.
