The project was an attempt to portray the stigma and misconceptions related to AIDS patients and their families.
It was a conscious decision to move away from the conventional method of spreading social awareness through direct messanges and a medium like film and animation.
The film "MAI" is the story of an old lady with enduring pain of hers son's death due to AIDS and the stigma related to the whole situation.
