Design of ‘Wee Dryer’
Internship at Intergral Enterprises & LightFish Product Design, Auroville

The main aim of the project was to provide a cost effective means to completely dry small articles of clothing. The product was to be able to dry clothing such as undergarments in a short amount of time, removing the need for drying such articles of clothing in open spaces in public view, or even openly in the house.

The product developed was to have the capacity to dry 1 Kilogram of clothes in 20 minutes. Three prototypes were developed during our one month stay in Auroville, Tamilnadu, with the final design being delivered on the last day of the internship.
