Editing is a process that actually shapes a movie. Storytelling through film editing is a research seminar that documents the intricate process of film editing in the service of visual storytelling. A technique that involves inter cutting two shots to create a third meaning turned out to be the most efficient form of storytelling since its invention in 1904. The grammar of editing is explained by dissecting scenes from some of the world’s renowned movies. Consider the adjacent example.
