A Programme for Early Childhood Education

In this project I designed an activity book for nursery children aged 3-5 years. The techniques of the book can be effectively incorporated by a pre-school teacher for an active and engaging class. The book aims to connect the children and teacher in a healthy learning environment. The book contains self learning activities designed using easily available local materials from the surroundings such as leaves, water, flowers, stone, clay, sand, vegetables, fruits, etc. The activities presented in the book are meant for both small and large groups of children to help them visualise simple concepts. It allows the children to express their feelings and artistic skills. I also developed an unique Illustration style in order to enable the readers to feel the context and enjoy referring to the book. |
