Solar dryer re-design

The project was to design a small conventional cabinet solar dryer to make it feasible for small-scale spices processing industry. The challenges were to design a product placed in between the domestic solar dryers and the big industrial electric dryers. It aimed to avoid high installation costs typical of an industrial forced solar dryer with huge array collector panels. The result is an innovative, compact dryer with five times the efficiency of the cabinet dryer. |
