Mazda Shogun-FAC (Functional Aesthetics Concept)

The Mazda Shogun is a two-seater, mid-engine, supercar. In the context of automotive exterior design, functionality is mainly oriented towards superior aerodynamics. This project deals with the design of a mid-engine supercar with aerodynamic functionality as the prime mover rather than the traditional philosophy of merely placing it as a post treatment for performance, thereby giving it a unique brand identity. This will result in a more scientifically appropriate shape for ultimate performance and handling. |
