'Antar' - a short animation film
Guide: Prof. Nina Sabnani
The primary aim of the project was to explore a narrative style involving fast paced visuals. Antar is a short animation film that explores the contrast between the lives of two people. One of them is a fisherman and the other is an office executive. The films attempts to look at the perception of their lives from the point of view of a bystander. It does not conclude with any message but only tries to bring a sense of contrast in the perception of time. The film begins with the executive rushing for work while the fisherman seems to be at leisure fishing in the lake. Their activities are then shown back and forth bringing a change in the pace of the narrative. The film ends with the reversal in their roles. |
