Explorations in water colour painting; Summer Internship with veteran artist Mr Milind Mulik
My internship dealt with exploring watercolour paintings under the guidance of a veteran artist Mr Milind Mulik. The focus was to achieve the essence of my surroundings in my paintings by varying the texture of paper, brush strokes and mediums. I perfected my drawing skills by sketching from life at public places. I studied in detail the exact light and shade using pencils. This helped to improve my observation of the human body, its postures and movement. |
