We Welcome you to our Annual Design Degree Show 'Urdhvam' (DDS 2011) at Industrial Design Center, IIT Bombay, showcasing the finest projects of the graduating batch. The show will be held at IDC, IIT Bombay from 6th to 8th June 2011 and at Nehru Centre, Worli, Mumbai from 11th to 12th June 2011, it’s the ideal platform for the emerging talent, industry and the stalwarts to meet, share ideas and creatively collaborate to forge new directions in design.
'Urdhvam' stands for ‘the persistent will to rise higher’, and salutes the incessant spirit of this institution to push the limits, set the bar higher, lead, and remain unsurpassed.
As a mark of our respect for 'Prof. Sudhakar Nadkarni', the visionary who initiated this renowned institution, we are celebrating his 75th birthday in his august presence at DDS this year through a special series of lectures, talks and a retrospective. |
