RESUME

Nazar…a short animation film on eyes

The film, “Nazar” looks at the change in human perception as life takes him to fortune. The film talks on how much success and fortune can affect a person’s life right from his behaviour to his relations with others. His circle of friends change, his interests change, even his dreams get changed, and he doesn’t realise it.

The movie is a look at people around us and how life changes around us.

The work included analysing the existing script and making the design philosophy of the film. The script was broken down and the props were categorised. The mood board and colour palette were made for the ambience and the mood of the film and conceptual sketches were made clarifying the various locations.

The animation short about Goddess Durga, which represents a united front of all divine forces against the negative forces of evil and wickedness. The Gods in heaven decided to create an all powerful being to kill the demon king Mahishasur who was ready to attack them. The image of Durga, the eternal mother destroying the demon Mahishasur, is symbol of the final confrontation of Good over Evil.
