Expressions Through Letterforms
Guide: Prof. G.V.Sreekumar

The project aims at Experimenting with the dynamic visual qualities inherent in letterforms and using them as a language for storytelling. The focus is creating letterforms using materials and lights, and making them move onscreen to express the phenomena of claustrophobia.

The project is learning towards understanding how letterforms create messages with life on screen and used as an expression. The output is an audio visual presentation combining video, animation and music.

Internship with Fawzan Husain, Mumbai based photographer

During one month of internship with Fawzan, I studied communities in Mumbai. My work during this period is a collection of my explorations on a few locations in the city that had a reflection on my photography and self.

People fascinate me the most and photography is an experience that gives me a chance to look at lives in a new light. My work is a compilation of photographs and writings on these communities that are part of plurality of the very existence of the city.

Mood and Behavior
Guide: Prof. Mandar Rane

We humans are surrounded with environments and extract experiences out of them. One of the experiences that fascinated me was a visit to an Irani restaurant in Mumbai, a ninety five year old place that has revived its essence till today.

My project aims to extract the experience of this place and design mood and behavior as per my perception of the place. It is to study, experience, revisit the place and create the visual experience by treating five senses through imagery, sound, smell, taste and touch in the form of an installation, also designing how people behave within that space.
