STYLING OF MPV
MPV tries to reach an harmonious integration of the demands of a van or UV with the style and comfort of a modern sedan. The MPV's skin is wrapped tightly around the underlying structure, creating an athletic, sporty appearance. The tight, compact body helps eliminate excess weight, which helps contribute to better handling and acceleration. On the inside, there are numerous seating and cargo configurations, and a wealth of creature comforts to keep everyone happy.
Although this segment is new for India, it did exist in other forms such as UV vehicles or just vans. UV vehicles such as TATA sumo, and Toyota qualis are favourite people carriers, but when it comes to family vehicle people don’t prefer it because of its utilitarian looks, where as vans and cars preferred for family use, when it comes to take whole family out, cars fall short of space.
This project will be the exploration of MPV design for India, which will bridge gap between car and Utility vehicles. Based on what Indian families want.

Trends in Auto colour
Today the automobile industry entices customers with a rainbow of colours never seen before. “True blue,” “lite white” or “flames red” are but a few of the colours of the new Smart car. Just 12 different metallic colour tones comprise the palette of the new Mercedes-Benz S class – soft greys, blues and blacks emphasize the fine line. The latest rage is high-tech paints that appear to change colour depending on the incidence of light and the angle of view.
For car buyers, regardless of age, occupation or geography, colour of their cars is more than just a matter of basic aesthetics it’s a deeply personal and emotional decision that can reveal as much about the person as about the car.
In this paper, it is tried to analyse the colours offered in Indian automotive industry. Also it’s tried to find out that is there any segment wise pattern in car colours offered. Then definitely car and its colour association are studied, and attributes which car gets with its colour is studied
