This project is an attempt to elevate Bamboo as an industrial material from popular notion of being a 'craft' material. It focusses at 3 to 5 yr old child and targets at private kindergartens following the educatonal philisophy of 'learning through play'. The posture chosen for product was ground level sitting posture which was backed by cultural and medical reasons. The main objective was to develop a multiutility activity table which fulfils the various psychological and physical needs of the user. Modular form and flexibility of use for educational and creative game development fits well in the changing requiremnts of KG class layouts.
