Jhumkee has worked in US corporations for 10 years and in India for over 15 years, in various technical, consulting, research and project leadership roles. Her work experiences in the areas of design and research have covered several leading edge corporations globally. She has several publications and awards to her credit and runs her own consulting firm, User in Design.
Currently she is focused on OHRNA, a social enterprise she launched, creating sustainable products that enable financial independence among rural, homebound women and preserve time-honored craft traditions.

Rayden Design

Rayden is a multi-disciplinary design studio founded by Parul and Mooshir Vahanvati. Rayden design strives to create objects that foster unique experiences.Parul holds a Masters degree in industrial design, although her second choice as a profession (after an undergraduate stint with architecture). It suits her to work in smaller scale and has always worked for small firms in Mumbai and New York. Passionate about what she does, she believes in Rayden’s way of thinking to make design a way of life.
Mooshir started his educational journey as an Engineer only to end up as an artist. he has a Bachelors in Computer Engineering, a Masters in Visual Communication and a Masters from ITP, NYU. He is the rock that holds Rayden firmly. To him there is nothing that cannot be done.

Tactopus is an ed-tech startup that creates interactive books, games, toys and puzzles for children with special needs to be able to equally participate in learning and play with their peers. Founded by Chandni R and Saloni Mehta, IxD 2015-17, they are growing by leaps and bounds.

Cohesive Labs in currently involved in designing and implementing Asia's largest Community CPR training program for the Pune Municipal Corporation. Cohesive Labs is founded by Pushkar Ingale.

SAMIDHA GUNJAL

Samidha Gunjal is an illustrator and Animator who mainly works on children's book and comics. She works out of her small studio , Studio Dhamisa, based out of Ahmednagar. She has created her own unique style in illustration and choses her topics that has her particular imprint. She is extremely new media savvy and uses social media to great effect.

ADITYA SAMBHARE

A product designer from the 1998-2000 batch, Aditya worked in the corporate sector for over 10 years in consumer electronics, white goods, lighting, audio equipment and automobiles etc. He spends his time servicing and restoring antique mechanical timepieces. He also hand crafts skeleton wrist watches of his own design.

Founded in 2002 by Baarish and Priyanka, their work includes developing wayfinding and signage programs for commercial, residential, retail and institutional projects, across the country. At the crux of all their work is an informed and innate understanding of both, the context and the user. Graphics Beyond is dedicated to the language of design and aesthetics.

With a personal goal and sole intent of working on meaningful projects and initiatives that uphold this belief, he co-founded a design Studio Vitamin-D ,a creative design studio specialising in Communication, Information and Digital design. Driven with a purpose to add value to customers and challenge themselves. They have also launched a startup based on Indian ethos called KOSH.
