Procedure for external students:
Students from India (International students click here for information ) desiring to do Graduate level Projects/ Summer Training at IDC, IIT Bombay may do the following:

1. Contact concerned faculty for supervision of the project

2. After getting the consent download the form from here , fill it; get it signed by the supervisor and Head of the Department.

3. Submit the fully filled form to Academic office for further process. After Dean (AP)'s approval student will be allowed to make payment of fees as given below.

4. Students who spend more than eight weeks in IIT Bombay, will be given temporary identity card and library reading facility. Such students will be required to pay 'External Student Fee' as mentioned below:
Summer Training (8 weeks) : Rs 6000/-
Degree Project Work (BE/ MCA levels) : Rs 15,000/-
(For a period upto 6 months)
Master's Project work : Rs 20,000/-
(For a period upto 6 months)
Master's Project work : Rs 25,000/-
(For a period upto 1 Year)

Hostel accommodation is subject to availability.
