 Guest Houses at IIT: IIT Bombay provides accommodation for guests (invited or visiting faculty, alumni, participants in workshop/ seminars organized by IDC) in either the Institute Guest House, CEP Guest House or the Staff Hostel. To avail of accommodation, bookings have to be done in advance and through the office 
at
IDC. All
these are located within the campus and within walking distance of IDC
(the rates vary from Rs 250/- to Rs 500/- per day per person).Student Hostels: During vacations, in the months of May, June and December, accommodation is available for guests (students from other IITs and partner institutions, participants in workshops/seminars organized by IDC, parents of students and students attending IDC admission test) in the student hostels. IIT has two girls and ten boys' hostels within its campus. These need to be booked in advance through the office at
IDC. (The
rates are about Rs 50/-per day per person for the room and Rs 25/- per
day per person for the bedding). Hotels near to IIT: All the hotels in the vicinity of IIT campus have tariff upwards of Rs 2,500/- per day. You can contact them directly for bookings. Rhodas Hotel: Located about 1km from IIT at Hiranandani Gardens, Powai. The rates are upwards of Rs 4500/- (US $ 100) per day. This includes breakfast and either lunch or dinner.
